About Bihar School Examination Board
Bihar School Examination Board is called Bihar Vidyalaya Shiksha Samiti in Hindi. It is an autonomous body issued by the Government of Bihar which conducts class 10 and 12 board examinations in government and private schools. It was established on 1 April 1952 under the Bihar School Examination Committee Act. It conducts board exams twice a year. The first examination is the annual examination which is held in February-March and the second examination is in May-June which is known as supplementary examination. This board also conducts examinations like Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teacher Eligibility Test for the state of Bihar.
